Town Hall Meeting Thursday, February 19

A follow up town hall meeting will take place on February 19 from 7:30pm-9:00pm in the school cafeteria.  In brief, this townhall meeting is a follow-up to the last parish meeting and will focus on how we can/should prepare for the new pastor and also how do we as a parish move forward in these times of change.
 

The following is an overview of the process that will take place by the

Priests' Placement Board:

February 20

Priests in pastor pool are to submit their preferences.    

February 23 and 24

The Cardinal, Vicars, and Placement Board meet to make final decision about pastor assignments.  

February/March - TBA

Pastor Pool team will contact priests about their assignments.   Nothing is official until assignments are made by Cardinal George. Please note, as of today, no appointments have been made. The open house on Tuesday, January 20, was very positive. However, it would not be appropriate to announce specific individuals at this time in respect to the individuals' current parish communities. As soon as we hear of anything official, the information will be shared. It is a sad and exciting time for St. Nick's. Let us continue to hold our parish, each other, and the Placement Board in prayer as we wait in hope for our next pastor to be assigned.
