How to keep Lent in our lives
ASH WEDNESDAY IS FEBRUARY 17
It is time to focus our attention on living our Baptism and being the Body of Christ. In our busyness we can lose the relationship God wants to have with us individually and as members of community. Lent is our penitential time to turn towards God and one another in the way our Baptism calls us.
How do we do that?
1. FOLLOW THE LENTEN REGULATIONS
2. JOIN A LENT COMMUNITY
Lent Communities (formerly known as ReLent groups) gather virtually for about an hour or so to “unpack” the Sunday Scripture readings more specifically. What is the challenge for us, here and now and how can we help each other in living the Word? In the course of that we get to know each other better and strengthen our bonds as Church.
Leaders of groups are asked to register your group below. Registration is needed so that we have materials for all. Once the groups are arranged, the list will be available for all parishioners.
See full list of groups. Call or e-mail the group leaders for more information.
