 Since his arrival in 2014, Cardinal Cupich has benefited from discussions on a variety of issues with the AWC. These exchanges have been informed by the members’ consultation with women in the Chicago archdiocese as we bring the voices of women forward. This year, beginning in March, we will be discussing the topic of what causes Catholic women to stay in or leave their Church. We ask your help as we prepare for our discussions with the Cardinal, by participating in this consultation.

ReLent groups gather, often in people’s homes, for about an hour or so to “unpack” the Sunday Scripture readings more specifically. What is the challenge for us, here and now and how can we help each other in living the Word? In the course of that we get to know each other better and strengthen our bonds as Church. Leaders of English groups are asked to register HERE. Registration is needed so that we have materials for all. Once the groups are arranged, the list will be available for all parishioners. Groups in Spanish please speak with Eva Sosa, Juana Patiño, or Francisca Patiño.  Youth & Young Adult Ministry at St. Nicholas Parish is part of the United Catholic Youth Ministries (UCYM) network. UCYM is a multi-parish ministry that supports youth, young adults, and their families in the Evanston and West Rogers Park areas of the Archdiocese of Chicago.
